As per the AAA Membership contract The details of what is covered and not covered is listed below.
What is covered.
- 1) 24 hours on road assistance- On road covers all blacktop roads and maintained graded roads only accessible by AAA patrol vehicles.
- 2) Vehicles covered -All saloon cars and 4X4 vehicles (including pickups, van, mini bus) Provided they are under the following specifications: 3 tons gross weight, and shall not exceed the maximum length of 5.1 meters and 2 meters width.
- 3) Membership- Covers the vehicle which is registered under it .
- 4) Validity -As mentioned on the membership card.
- 5) Broken down vehicles will be to the nearest garage only in Oman and AAA authorized garages in UAE.
- 6) Battery boosting in case of battery discharged.
- 7) Flat tire fixing if spare available in the vehicle.
- 8) Fuel delivery in case vehicle stranded without fuel. Fuel is charged.
- 9) Minor mechanical and electrical repair.
What is not covered.
- 1) Any off road breakdowns such as in wadi, sand or mountain slopes. Cyclone, earthquake or other forces of nature.
- 2) Vehicles over and above the specifications of 5.1 meter length and 2.0 meter width and low bed cars.
- 3) Member ship for one car is not transferable to any other car.
- 4) Towing to any other garages of the customers choice not covered in Oman or in UAE.
- 5) Battery not supplied, however if the customer has a spare it will be replaced.
- 6) Tire will not be supplied.
- 7) Fuel cost not covered, to be paid by the customer.
- 8) Parts for repairs not supplied.
- 9) Any post Accident towing services.
